Sometimes, you may have noticed yourself thinking of someone. But do you know that he or she whom you have been thinking about, may actually thinking about someone else?
From times, there may be someone who is thinking about you. Yet, you do not care about him or her at all…
And sometimes, dreaming alone is tons better than the fact that,
All dreams you have been wonderfully dreaming, is just a dream…Therefore, it is not unusual at all for the majority of people choose to live in their own dream, rather than facing the cruel world of truth that you are not the first in his or her heart.

Love and Hate: Similar reaction

Well, I just realised something important in my life.
Before I start, I have a few questions for you to answer.
1. If someone whom you hate approach you for help or any discussions, what would you do?
2. If someone whom you secretly love approach you for help or any discussions, what would you do?
If you are not very exposed person like me, I believe your answers are the same. Yes, the same, at least for me.
If someone I hate approach me, I would talk to him with only the business he originally approach me for. And I’d do it politely, very politely. I’d do that not to offence him or her. Even he or she is the person I hate the most, I’d still talked to him or her politely.
But, if someone I secretly love approach me, I’d want her to be impressed. So, I would have done things very politely to avoid doing anything wrong, and it would be very awkward situation. I may slip into other topics too, but normally I cannot think of anything to talk with her…
I think I’ll have to act differently to catch the interest of her…

Writing Fan-Fiction

Well, been writing fanfiction again. I have one published story — see the fanfiction page for more detail — which is the one I’m currently writing (it is multi-chaptered story). Some reviews I have got tells me that it is good beginning. I have read stories before, and I know how annoy it is to wait. But with that first chapter, I have at least a hundred dafts and took around four months to complete. Now with chapter 2, I’m already at draft five. Should finish is a week. I have been writing this (second) chapter for one and a half already. Sorry all readers.
OK, back to the topic. These are a few writing tips I want to share. Some are from other resources, some are mine. If you think any tips has been posted anywhere before, let me know and I’ll credit it.
- Always have a beta-reader. No matter how god are you in English grammar/spelling. I’m a beta reader myself for other stories, but I still need a beta reader.
- If you are using Microsoft Word, try turning on full grammar/style checker. It is useful. The style checker can check for wordiness and several other useful errors. Although you should not turn on the ‘Passive Voice’ and ‘Use of first person pronoun’ checker, or your document will be marked with a lot of error.
- Try writing a shorter piece of text, and lengthen it. My chapter usually around 650 words, and I lengthen it to ~2,000 words. But beware not to lengthen it too much. As said on SIYE, ‘not too much nor too little details’.
OK, ‘a few’ can be referred to three, right? That’s all.
